Spotlessly clean, so many thoughtful little touches, incredibly helpful and friendly hosts, stunning scenery, beautiful gardens and a wonderful pool – what more could we ask for?

We had the most amazing stay at The Walnut Tree Villa
The villa is spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need to just relax by the pool and enjoy the seclusion.
Sami is only a few minutes away, with its lovely waterfront restaurants – we were spoilt for choice! We also visited Antisamos Beach, Melissani Lake and Drogarati Cave, all within an easy drive from the villa. 2nd Year At The Walnut Tree
Our second year at the Walnut Tree and it didn’t disappoint!! We love the privacy of the villa and how quiet it is.

Would recommend this villa to anyone, faultless!!!
Had a large family holiday (3 generations) and stayed at the Walnut Tree villa for the week. Absolutely brilliant accommodation, with plenty of room for all, inside the roomy central areas and also the bedrooms. Facilities were great with the pool and all the added rings and lilos to use made it so much fun for the children (of all ages).
Grounds of the villa were lovely to explore with the grandchildren and the bbq area was really handy too!
Location is so secluded and you don’t see or hear anyone. Ideal spot to explore the entire island and will defo try to get over there again! Would recommend this villa to anyone, faultless!!!Andy H (UK). May 2026

Everything from arrival to the service we received through the whole 10 day stay was first class. The arrival was made super easy with someone meeting us at the villa and showing us through the amenities and being super clear on all the details we needed to know. Multigenerational holiday – Amazing!
Just returned from an amazing holiday in this spectacular and well equipped villa. We were a multi generational group of 10 and loved the space, the pool, the grounds and the great combination of rural tranquility with the convenience of a very short drive to Sami with all the facilities and services you need.
Having stayed in many villas over the years this has to be the best equipped I have ever experienced. All you need is provided, from the big things such as a well equipped kitchen, large BBQ, lots of sunbeds, a top notch table tennis table, air conditioning etc… through to some lovely small touches such as UK adapter plugs and a cupboard full of games, pool toys, masks, snorkels and beach shoes! Pool/beach towels were also provided.
Highly recommended for groups seeking a fun filled holiday…

Perfect Location
We had a wonderful stay in this large Villa which comfortably accommodated 9 of us. The Villa was like a home away from home with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything you could possibly need. Bed’s were very comfortable too. The Villa is in the perfect location for exploring the island and Sami offers plenty of shops to get supplies. Both the owners and the manager were extremely helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely book again if we return to Kefalonia.

Visiting our Roots!!
Great stay, very comfortable, well equipped. Older grandaughters enjoyed their own area upstairs. The pool and patio lovely! Enjoyed the goats, chickens and peacock sounds. Sami great place to stay as we explored the island. Visited my grandfathers village of Simitata.

We had a wonderful holiday at The Walnut Tree Villa.
The villa was perfect for our big family, all the children loved playing in the pool and exploring the grounds, not to mention table tennis tournaments too! The air conditioning was amazing as the heat was incredibly high in August. The villa was well equipped including a great little cupboard of toys and games etc. It is a perfect location too just down the road from lovely Sami. We would love to come back here one day, highly recommended!

We blinked and it was time to come home, but what an amazing week it was!
It was everything we hoped for and more. The family just kept saying “this place is amazing” and we were all so glad we found you. You have equipped the villa with everything we needed and it was so good to have all the items for the baby.
Needless to say the pool was used so much, including stringing a net over for water volleyball. I loved watching all our men playing in the water as if they were all in their 20’s. We moved the parasols nearer the water to create shade on the steps so that we could take it in turns to play with the baby. I had a lovely evening swim while watching for the meteor showers and we all laid out on the loungers on Sunday evening and saw some amazing shooting stars.
The wedding day was such a success from start to finish and the bride, bridesmaids/men and my dear friend who was MoTB were extremely grateful for using the upstairs apartment for getting ready. They honestly don’t know how they would have coped with the weather and distance from the chapel otherwise. The air conditioning was a godsend! St Georges Chapel in Poulata was a wonderful location.

Amazing Villa
Amazing villa, has everything you need. The pool is amazing. The views are incredible. There were 10 of us staying for a friend’s wedding, and it worked perfectly. We didn’t hire a car, so used quite a lot of taxis, which was fine, they cost €10 to Sami. Adrian and Jackie couldn’t have been more helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay

Our stay at the Walnut Tree Villa was absolutely incredible! We had our Wedding in Sami and the house was perfect for us and our close friends. Everyone had perfect accommodations for sleeping and plenty of room to hang out in the living rooms together. We really enjoyed the use of the pool and laying out in the sun. It was fun to go out and pick fresh fruit to eat off of the trees. Adrian, from management was very helpful during our stay. We had the best time! Really recommend!

Family Wedding in Kefalonia
My family visited Kefalonia for a wedding nearby. The villa was perfect for all the family to spend time together from my father 80 years old to the grandchildren who are young adults. They had the upstairs apartment and the oldies had the downstairs and this worked brilliantly . The managing agents were very helpful and the villa and ground were very well kept.

We had a large group (11 people) stay – and were thrilled with everything from the location, to the view, to the overall accommodations. The property manager was friendly and responsive, and the host checked in with us often, and even assisted us with our Private Chef by meeting him ahead of our stay. The villa lived up to our expectations. We were a family aged 5 to 77 and we all enjoyed the villa and the facilities on offer. Of course, the pool was a great hit with the children. It is ideal depth. Adrian and Caroline were efficient friendly and knowledgeable about the area. A fabulous holiday.

We spent 2 weeks at the Walnut Tree Villa and couldn’t have asked for more. The villa itself is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring such a beautiful island and Celia could not have been more helpful during all of our communication in the lead up to and during our holiday. I would highly recommend!
We couldn’t have had a better stay, Celia was incredibly helpful with the bookings, recommendations, advice and contacts. Caroline and Adrian were also very helpful making arrangements during our stay. We had fantastic weather; the villa feels so secluded and private yet so close to everything you need.
We visited Sami in late May, and we booked the Walnut Tree Villa. It was a fantastic choice, and the Villa was amazing. It was so well equipped for all the family to have a great holiday and the facilities were second to none, the swimming pool, bikes, table tennis and boules would keep the family amused and the area is lovely.
