Firstly, a huge thank you to all the guests who took the time to leave such glowing feedback last season, your insight is very welcome. It means a lot to us and allows us to learn, grow and improve upon the next holiday experience (or home from home as we like to call it).
On the theme of constantly improving a question we are often asked is which coffee machine do you have? (our guests are avid coffee connoisseurs, one of our guests brought his “must have coffee machine” in his car to help him feel at home (…from home). Well….the villa has a number of Cafetières and a percolator for those killer espressos. In addition, and new for 2025 we have installed a couple of Tassimo style coffee machines for those who cannot function without fuelling up, there are over 60 famous-brand drinks for every taste.
Naturally a few pods are included in the welcome pack for our guests, but, with so many flavours to choose from it’s always a satisfying trip to the shops.
On the subject of fuel, USB charging in communal areas now incorporates USB-C outlets as more devices, including Apple, support this standard – don’t forget to pack a spare lead, just in case. This upgrade is in addition to bedrooms which already have USB charging.
Whilst on the subject of fuel, Virginia Woolf famously remarked “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” The Walnut Tree Villa is superbly appointed for dining, soirees and socialising. From family celebrations, to weddings or just unwinding, it wouldn’t be the same without great food. Should you need inspiration just thumb through our extensive range of hard backed cook books. Pick fresh herbs or fruit from the garden or purchase a myriad of fresh, local produce from town.
